Mention to anyone with computer savvy that your laptop has somehow gotten slower over recent months and they’ll ask you the same thing: “have you defragmented your hard drive?” Defragmenting works by taking small slivers of information stored in various locations and consolidating them so that…
So I read this today, not before the first week of the new year, but who cares? I think we should all do this not just once a year but multiple times. I wake up in the morning to my phone lit up with 5 texts and countless tweets and Facebook notifications. While I love knowing whats going on, sometimes it’s overwhelming. I won’t even be able to send a message back before another tweet comes in. I think that John Mayer is so right, lets all spend a little less time wired and a little more time doing the things that really matter.
MUCUS!!! I dread Easter season because Mear (the woman who gave birth to me, my mother), always goes to the grocery store and picks up like 5 Easter lilies. I mean, they aren’t even that attractive, the Easter ones are just white. But what those babies lack in appearance make up with their stench!! So Easter has been gone for a while so I forgot about those nasty things. Then the other day some really pretty, pink, tall flowers popped up around our mailbox. My mom cut some off and put them in a vase on our table. Little did I know, but those flowers were freakin lillies!! It’s like Easter all over again at my house. My whole house reaks of mucus. I hate lilies..
I feel like I should have something important to say. However, right now I just have something to say. That’s hi. This is my first post ever on Tumblr. I love hearing what people have to say, and I love advice. I love that i just stumbled upon Tumblr from going to John Mayer’s Twitter account and then finding a Tumblr post he wrote about Twitter. I think that you, John Mayer, are inspiring. Maybe it’s because I love your music, maybe it’s because you seem funny and generally likable, or maybe it’s because although you’re a “celebrity”, you still seem to be normal, you seem to accept the fact that you’re not perfect and life isn’t perfect, but that it’s okay. I’m so glad I heard of John Mayer on Artists You Should Know on MTV when i was little with my siblings. I’m so glad i got to go to his concert, her in my hometown, Memphis. I’m so glad I follow him on Twitter, and I’m so glad I found Tumblr through his Tumblr through Twitter. I’m so glad that life is full of chain reactions, that could cause extreme changes bad or good, or that can simply cause a small happy moment.
